Hand colored serigraph
« on: July 29, 2011, 09:23:26 AM »
Screen printed plastisol on acrylic plate. Then misted with mineral spirits. 100% cotton rag paper soaked and blotted then placed on top of the plate and run through an intaglio (etching) press. Print is immediately colored with watercolor paint.

nice look Tony. The paper is soaked with...? Water was my first guess (trying to remember High School art class) but on plastisol, I'm not so sure.
