Heat press question
« on: June 03, 2014, 11:40:04 PM »
While heat pressing numbers today our heat press jump to 410 from a set 320, that is the second time it's done this, I'm thinking my temp gauge is going bad any one had this problem with yours and what was your fix.

I don't know about suddenly jumping, but I have had to calibrate my dial before.
I assume that a controller can crap out.

Had to replace a thermostat on one that I had that did it. It was a hix machine. I would get in touch with manufacturer. Sounds like that is what it is to me

Thanks guys, this heat press is old, one of the Geo Knights, lord know it has made it's money and more years ago.  Thermostat is the word I was looking for instead temp gauge...
