Printing sweatpants
« on: December 10, 2014, 06:36:25 PM »
I haven't printed sweatpants on my auto ever and found something that probably everyone who prints pants already  knows, But here you go anyway. I had a big concern when loading about getting the legs dirty from hanging down on the floor. So what I did was got a cardboard box and placed it below my load station and let the legs hang in the box until I got it in position to print, then i tied the legs in a knot.
How do you do it.

on my press we take the leg not being printed and drape it over the pallet arm above the pallet.

Similar to what I do, but I have a cut-off shirt sleeve around each arm just above the board that makes it handy and secure to tuck the troublesome stuff away.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

On my M&R there is a hole in the platen clamp mechanism and I got some #6 coated electrical wire about 12" and made a "J" shape hook that fits in the hole and the legs I just throw over the other end of the "J" Hook.
