Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, has past away.
« on: October 05, 2011, 08:05:45 PM »
As reported by CNN

Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple, has died, according to the company. He was 56.

The hard-driving executive pioneered the concept of the personal computer and of navigating them by clicking onscreen images with a mouse. In more recent years, he introduced the iPod portable music player, the iPhone and the iPad tablet -- all of which changed how we consume content in the digital age.

Jobs had battled cancer for years, took a medical leave from Apple in January and stepped down as CEO in August because he could "no longer meet (his) duties and expectations."

I saw this about an hour ago on the news. Sad day. People like Jobs are few and far between, and all of us, whether or not we own or use an Apple product, enjoy the benefits of his vision.

For some reason I hate apple, and it isn't because of Jobs.  He is a true pioneer and I only wish we could clone his vision and genius.  He will be missed.

Not the apple that is in a man's throat...and in select women.

Really when you think about it, he has changed the lives of so many people, it's amazing.
