best way to prep ali screens for restretching?

When you want to restretch your own ali statics whats the procedure after you cut out the old mesh?
i assume angle grinder with a sanding disk if so what grit is best to use?

If that is the route you go, make sure to wear a filter mask as the glue dust will be some nasty stuff
