How long can waterbase ink last?

Couldn't give you an exact answer but as long as there is not discharge agent (Obvious) and you keep it sealed I'd say over a year.  I know I just pulled some off the shelf that I know is a year old and I just stirred it up (Add i lil water if chunky looking) and it was good to go.  Magma brand

I am still using sericol inks that are 3 years old and work just fine.

As long as they don't mold or dry out.

Back in the '90's , I used to have and use Union Aerotex and Unidye that was 5-10 years old

That is some of the inks I have now Frog along with some speedball waterbase inks, I know years ago we use to print golf towels for the bank across from us, and that's why we still have it.

Used 'em for air brushing as well. Way cheaper than the little bottles often sold for that.

Anything with a blowing agent will tend to have a shorter shelf life - suedes, puffs, etc.

Also, if a waterbase goes off, it will generally appear curdled like cottage cheese and/or have a pungent odor.
