Rutland sponge puff base
« on: June 27, 2016, 11:58:38 PM »
Maybe you can help me with this, I use Rutland sponge puff base.
My local supplier is out of stock and it's going to take about 3 months for them to get more.
i print it as a under base and print colors on top of it, can I get a similar result mixing regular puff base with a clear base?
What does the Sponge Puff Base cost in the USA?
Where can I get it?

Your distributor should be able to drop ship that from Rutland directly to you.

Ask them about that option.

Sponge puff is also different from regular puff.  Bigger bubbles/more open cells.  It also tends to not pucker when cured like regular puff.
Been in the industry since 1996.  5+ years with QCM Inks.  Been a part of shops of all sizes and abilities both as a printer and as an Artist/separator.  I am now the Ink and Chemical Product Manager at Ryonet.
