This was a bad year to be an NFL counterfeiting decorater, their revenue was in the crapper from lost viewership and they were not about to lose anything to ripped Super Bowl merch.

They show up on my news feed in FB, and I've always wondered what they were paying in licensing fees. Now I know...

Complete speculation but do you think the washington examiner paid royalties to Outkast to play their music in the background on that story lol!!

And why in the world is homeland security involved in this??? Is this really the best use of their time and our money? I hate cheaters as much as anyone else but seriously wtf is homeland security doing in that first article?

Only thing I could think of is the fact Home Land security over sees the postal system, and this obviously involved the mail. So anything to do with shipping through the postal service could fall under the Home Land Security authority.

The bigger question is whether any branch of the government should be involved....If so, does it really matter which branch does it?...

Copyrights are law, and therefore it has to be enforceable by the government.

Heck, Trump tried it with "You're fired!", Paris Hilton with "That's hot!" She actually partially won this, limited to clothing, booze, and electronic devices.
I don't know if exceptions were made as Samsung phones and Dell computers reached incendiary temperatures.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

But one wonders if Repla Prints would get quite the same help in a similar situation.
