Unikote and Starlight
« on: October 17, 2017, 11:46:26 AM »
got my units installed and the tech is coming today for the i-Image.
couple of questions.

I use Ulano blue and will only be using 3 mesh types: 150S, 225S, 305

I typically coat my 150s with a 1print/2 ink side and the higher mesh with a 1/1

is this optimal?  or should I be going 1/2 on everything?  Also, anyone have burn times for this setup?

Probably 4 second exposure time, that's what we have with Ulano Orange.

Do you find the Blue holds enough resolution on 225S, 305? I ask because we use a dual cure for our higher meshes.

For the coating you will almost certainly only need 1/1 for the 150S at least, sharp edge 2/2 for 225S / 305 maybe....but you could just go slower and probably achieve the right  EOM.

I didn't see the solids content and don't use Blue but it shouldn't be too different from Orange I think.

Good luck, those are great pieces of equipment.

Rep came back and measured my screens
EOM was almost 100%
said to just do 1/1 round and I should be good.

We have a Saati ProCoat and a Starlight.  We use Saati PHU Red.
1/1 all mesh 110-305.  4-8 second exposure depending on mesh and art.
