One man shop from the Bay Area

Hello all,

I've been a big reader of this forum for a while and finally decided to join so I could participate in the conversation!

Quick Background
Company: Print Head
Location: Morgan Hill, CA
Years Printing: 2
Printing Technique: Mostly discharge and water base. Sometimes plastisol if I have to. Totally manual.

Really excited to join this forum! I am completely self taught, so I still have endless questions about how to make life in the shop a little easier. If anyone else out here is printing water base/discharge manually, let's talk! Any guidance is welcomed and appreciated.

Hat is off to you for printing wb manually. My wrists were never consistent enough!

Thanks! My wrists aren't quite machines yet and I haven't mastered crisp edges and perfect opacity, but everyday gets me closer!

I'm in Felton (Santa Cruz Mountains). I also print DC/WB almost exclusively, also on a manual press. I mainly use Virus inks. I am more of a hobby printer -- I mainly print for my retail line, which is very small-time. I have been printing for a couple years, but since I don't print every day, I am still pretty much a newbie.

welcome I am far from California, (central NY) but close in that I am a self taught manual printer. Plastisol haven't got the WB bug yet maybe next week you never know. Welcome in
