Any shops here use Chromatex ink(mostly the 1100 series)?  How does it perform?  Is it consistent from batch to batch?

We use some,

Its cheap, so that is a main factor.  Does it perform as well as QCM or a more expensive ink, absolutely not. But for sim process, or thinner ink deposits we have had success.

Their whites are decent. ( Read: Cheap) and have a place in our shop. A 5 gal of cotton white is cheap like Borscht. Great for thin prints, or  vintage style graphics.  Casper is ok, it is half the cost of QCM 158 and half as good.

Consistency is fine, bucket to bucket you know what your going to get.

Hope his helps!
