Use press questions
« on: January 17, 2018, 09:57:28 PM »
Looking at a used M&R Diamondback 2009 mod.
I am going to talk to the tech that has serviced the machine.
What questions should I ask him about this press, I interested in.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know jack about an auto but if it were my intent to buy this machine I would call M&R and ask a few questions...
what updates would be required to a 2009 machine
What areas should i look at on a machine of this age to gage the wear and tear on the machine...example you go to buy a car owner says the milage is 50K but the rubber on the brake pedal is highly abraded away.......get the idea?
Hire a tech to come in and go over the machine and give you a report on condition etc. especially if the machine is no longer in service.
Bottom line if you don't know what you are looking at or for hire someone who does to be your eyes and tech smart guy. This is done all the time when someone wants to buy a boat, they hire an inspector to suvey the boat, buy a house hire an inspector to find the stuff you wallet will otherwise find later....
