Barrier or No Barrier on these Holloway ts
« on: February 08, 2018, 01:21:14 PM »
Im thinking that I should be fine with a good poly white like Synergy on these Holloway Heather Royal performance shirts.  Got a good many so I am just double checking....Really dont want to mess with the barrier gray on this.  Thanks guys!!

Since you have a "good many", you probably have a few extras to test.
If you have the time, run one with your Synergy to confirm that it's not a problem bleeder.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

I did some late 16' with Wilfex Top Score white and they were fine, BUT the white in the design was minimal. Other colors were Deep purple and Cool Gray 9C. I think I had to sub a couple sizes with a Badger, and those bleed like crazy and were fine. Definitely test, but my vote would put you more in the "it'd be fine" category.

I would run a thin barrier thru a 160 flash it then hit a top  LB WHITE. You will be fine

Agree with running a barrier if you have a bunch of em.  Or just test it, but these could look great and migrate days after they've left your shop.

What is the easiest barrier to run on these.  The stuff we tried last time was like printing tar.  Sucked bad..Thanks

I do a lot of poly printing and honestly, I've never had an issue with Holloway stuff bleeding. Even using a subpar white with a PFP holds up real well. Their stuff is top notch. I printed a 4 color job on that style a while back with One Stroke poly white. No issues.

SORRY for the late response I have been really busy . I do like the Rutland but do add a little chino for printability and it has never effected the bleed resistance. The product prints really matte and smooth. I am sure there are more expensive techier barriers out there but for what I have done this product gets 5 of 5 stars
