Time to call them out... DTG "Print Partners"
« on: July 09, 2018, 05:22:46 PM »
This is now my second time trying Print Partners AKA The Dream Junction.
All I can say is for having some of the most amazing videos of their DTG's running, this is now the 2nd time they have made my job look utterly atrocious.

Attached is the shirt I got, vs. the art that I sent.
And trust me, I understand that DTG isnt perfect in color replication, but seeing the stuff Graphic Disorder has done, and what some others have done, I feel this should have been a little better.

Correct me if Im wrong...

Great day in the morning that's a mess, nothing like the art at all, if they are known for good work this ain't it. :o
Life is like Kool-Aid, gotta add sugar/hardwork to make it sweet!!

And this is my second shot with them.  I can not believe how bad it is.  I mean if there was a problem on my end, I get it, and I would hope they would contact me about it, but the art I sent was stellar, and followed every step on their site to make it look as best as possible.

You should send the file to m&r and have them test it on the x link....... I bet it would match the artwork LOL

Hmmm, it looks like it could use some more blue... damn, that's bad. Are they really charging for that?

Steve
I made a mistake once; I thought I was wrong about something; I wasn't

My exact thoughts. And yes, charging $8.75 for Gildan, and $9.75 for bella/canvas.

Id love to send this art to someone who could reproduce this better than these guys.
If 244 is willing, id love to give them a try, but I know Im not in the market for DTG, just need some shirts done here and there.

Holy Moses!

How many shirts would this be for?  You can screen that much better and less hassle.

Here is a contract DTG Co. I've used before. I've used their services a few times in the past.

This was only for 2 shirts as a sample.  Im looking for a good contract DTG printer that I can trust quality with.  It was a plus these guys are in California, and were able to print 17" tall, but I guess that doesnt matter when the print is absolute trash.

I am positive we can do that art justice, but we are $10 per print. I?d gladly give this a shot just to see how close we can get. Can you send me the art?

Pierre
Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Pierre you should just print them and post images of both on your website...A nice You versus Them (no names) comparison will showcase the "great" work you do....

Never heard of an "OvalJet", but even in the video the prints look washed out...

I was thinking the same.

The concept is neat, but obviously they focused on the front and not the end,
which seems to be the norm these days.
