Plasticharge base with Plastisol top colors
« on: August 02, 2018, 08:59:56 AM »
A while back I posted a problem we had with the top plastisol colors not sticking and coming out in the wash. The answer was "too much white pigment" in the Plasticharge. I've tried searching for the thread, but after 15 minutes, it's time to ask for help. What is the correct amount of the Maxopaque Mixing White to the Plasticharge base? I know it's less than the normal 50/50 mix. Thanks in advance guys...

My understanding it is 20% white, 80% base.

That being said I screwed up one time and did 50/50.  We ended up heat pressing them after they were run through the dryer and it worked.  The prints were still really bright and they didn't come off.

We wasted a lot of time heat pressing, but it was better than reordering 400 tanks and reprinting them.

Thanks, we appreciate it. We don't need to have the colors wash off of a job that's late already...
