I can't get my conveyor dryer out...
« on: October 05, 2018, 04:47:43 PM »
I received my conveyor dryer. Workhorse told me to expedite the installation/training time, it would be best to start by taking out the equipment. But I can't get this conveyor dryer out of it's crate... The head tech/installation guy from workhorse confidently told me a pallet jack would be able to take it out. But I really don't see how that would be done in a safe matter. I don't want to ruin the conveyor dryer. Any ideas? It's only me and 1 of my coworkers.
Other than waiting for the installation person from workhorse. Thanks guys

First and foremost Remove the blocks holding the legs in place then both of you lift one side at a time and set it on the floor.

I'm guessing the bolts holding it on are from the bottom into the legs.  Probably just enough space underneath to use a ratchet and socket.  Unscrew and then lift off.  As I said, just a guess.

Don't worry about that one piece.  Get everything else ready for the tech to come in a set it up.  An extra set of hands from somebody that knows what they are doing will make it go a lot easier.  It may add 1/2 an hour to the install process.

Just make sure the rest of the shop is clean, organized, and ready for the install.  It will make it go a lot faster.
