Bonding pallet rubber to pallet rubber?
« on: November 06, 2018, 02:18:07 PM »
Has anyone bonded pallet rubber on top of existing pallet rubber? So rubber to rubber, not rubber to aluminum.

I'm asking because we have a set of platens that are made for a Workhorse that create off contact issues with our M&R presses. Looking for a hack to fix this without having to re-level our press every time we need to print with these things.

Aside from the mechanical dimensional differences IF your mission is to attach rubber to rubber here is my suggestion.
One work of caution this mpost likely is a one way trip. If you get it wrong or want to change it in the future you are going to have a real tough time undoing the bond.

Use this stuff 100% coat both pieces let it dry completely use a teflon sheet or wax paper to separate and align before allowing the pieces to contact and you are good to go.

This will positively work this is the stuff counter tops are appled with. Follow directions and you are good to go.
