frame use
« on: October 27, 2020, 10:07:40 AM »
Hi All

I would like to know in general what frame you use to make your impression (spot color only).
I have an 8/10 M&R automatic and an Anatol 7/8.
At the moment my set-up is 125 for my base and 157 for the colors.

Thanks'
Michel,

Michel,

Are those US numbers? If so, that seems lower than most would use. If metric, higher. Importantly, how are your results?

Michel,

Bases 156 or 200
top colors usually 200 or 230 with half tones. 305 when needed for higher end half tone work

Indeed Frog! this sounds like canadian numbers but i thought we were using the same mesh symbol  ::).
in fact! I am preparing to do some tests because with what I am using my print is very thick on the t-shirt and it is not soft to the touch.
My fear is that eg on a black t-shirt the color will change, or the black of the t-shirt will cross the color.
We use Rutland ink for our color and Ink-Craft for our white and black

Just take care I use a translate to be shor you Under stand me so mabe some time is not clear :D

Thank Inkman996!

Here is a simple chart showing close approximations for common mesh sizes with regular medium threads.
