Staging work for contract EMB shop
« on: January 07, 2019, 10:43:26 AM »
Hi - My question is this....

We have 3 - 6 head machines, new Tajima 15 needle. I wonder if there is a calculation method for knowing what job capacity we can expect for a two shift workload
we are always overbooked, just trying to get our workload under some control. Sure, simple answer is buying more heads, that's easy. I would rather know what my actual machine capacity is - then buy more heads.

We know what our stitch count, placement, garment complications, and piece count is per job before we start our days and weeks.
Surely there must be a calculation method - would be happy to pay for such a thing........

Thanks in advance

Ron I have something I created for embroidery that will give you everything you need. What email can I send it to then call you to explain so you dont click on the wrong stuff and blow the formulas. it has stops, you can change the stitches per minute, pieces in the run, thread colors all that. I have post run in there along with unexpected down time and it will total and give you actual cost per stitch, run times and your cost for the run. it ties into a master spread sheet where you can punch in your overhead and also have exact costs in the area.

Ron, did you get any good way for sorting out calculations. I'm having the same issues.
