Oil in the the press?
« on: February 21, 2019, 10:18:23 AM »
I ask this question a few years back and thought I would refresh it, how many of you release the oil built up in your press reserve air tank and how often.  Didn't know I had to do that until a buddy told me about it, I think I released about a full bottle of oil that day from that air tank, I would think an all air machine would need this done more often. ;)
Life is like Kool-Aid, gotta add sugar/hardwork to make it sweet!!

I believe it's about once a month we drain the oil from the plug in the bottom of the air manifold.  We don't get much out of it but got a lot out of our CH3 one multiple times when trying to fine tune the oiler for the press.

It's good to know it's working well and to check for water (our dryer seems to work very well with the new compressor, no water at all in anything yet).
