Would a top coat printed after the inline foiler preserve the shine?

Hey Rick. Any updates on the visit from Buck and George? Would love to hear if you were able to learn anything about the ROQfoil unit.

Absolutely, The new foiler is in place. We tested a-magic, matsui, virus, and midas. all double stokes. the A-magic was the best of the water base adhesives and has been our go to but with the vegas dry heat it's tougher to work with so we put in the Midas plastisol glue and were getting the same or better results as with the a-magic and we were running a Disney castle 17" TALL with very fine detail. ( I  cannot post as its licensed) then we did a large heart with the same products. We learned and were retrained on the proper leveling etc.
Flocking- After the retraining our teams set up a 13x16 flock job and ran 400 a hour with almost no powder on the floor. The biggest change was a clean vacume system, flashing after the flock station to allow the vac to be really low and the completely cleaned up the excess.. The George, Buck team really helped us out along with the support and commitment from Ryonet.

where does the Midas stuff come from? How do I get a sample?

pierre
Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

We buy it from Dynamic Supply. We have absolutely no issues and our foil is super smooth with no specs. We do run a plastisol the color of the foil under the glue.
