We use legacy white. seems to work great on the one color white transfers.. 110 mesh. We are pretty much done running transfers in house unless we are in a bind and ALL OTHER AVENUES HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED!!!! LOL

When we did them in house (and I pushed for only white and black ink, 1 color transfers) we used Wilflex Transflex.

Inks worked great.  Used with transfer powder too.

we print transfers literally every single day.  Our favorite white currently is the premium white from river city graphics.  it just works really well.  we have tested a bunch of other whites, including some of the transfer specific whites (like the transflex) and they just arent as good.  main issue is they are either lacking opacity, too stiff once pressed, or blur when pressed vs holding nice edges.

for black we use the batman black from triangle.  I wouldnt say its fantastic, but we have tested maybe 5 other blacks that sucked for transfers, mainly from blurring and "melting" when pressed causing opacity and edge definition issues, or having a grayish hue vs remaining nice and black. We print black through high, high mesh (300) usually but whites are all over the board depending on the needs of the job.  We go as low as 83 and as high as 300 depending, but print mostly on 135S.

For colors the rio inks are actually pretty awesome.  We usually mix one pantone lighter and try not to underbase anything.  Some colors just dont work though without a base.  We also use clear bases A LOT.

Powder, we prefer the powder from one stroke inks, I think its the fashion one.  we fully cure and melt at 300ish degrees so our transfer have great durability prior to pressing and we havent seen any issues with washfastness etc.

paper, any hot peel is fine and preferred for us.  ultrastrip 3000/5000 and the X90.
