« on: May 11, 2011, 01:14:40 PM »
Help! Can anyone tell me what PANTONE 14-1118 TPX is closest to in the Pantone Classic Colors?

Illustrator is converting it to 480C, but it does not look as close to this (Is the link is what you are looking for)
See attachment how to do it in CS4 or CS5

Hope it helps

DK came up with something similar

Well, here are the equivalents in RGB and CYMK. You could plug them into your graphics programs and see what they come up with as close.

Thanks all. This will give me a good place to start. My customer gave me that pantone, but I have NO IDEA where he got it from.
I'm pretty sure that set is for fabric and dye colors?

that number looks like something out of the GOE book. I'll look it up when I get back.

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!
