Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Haha.  You know, thats a pretty sweet CMYK job if I ever did see one. I was impressed by the outcome.  Sometimes with CMYK, jobs, you never know. I think this art and color really works for CMYK and it's on a Khaki color to boot with an underbase. Shazam! ;D

I still maintain that the new RIP is to blame for it. The dot size is right on, so everything printed the way you separated it. Must be the first time I did not have to sample it, it was right from the 1st print!

Very Nice. Changing the purple to blue helped it even more. IMHO.

What did I miss...what rip are you using?

ahhh, that's just the lighting, color remained the same.

I switched to Film Maker and it is very impressive!

Am I correct in understanding that you've been printing for only 2 years?

50% of the time I'm 100% right.

Nah, that's just Dan spreading vicious rumors. It's been two and a half now!

Nice job Pierre  8)
I love cartoony 4CP work, allows room for fudging and is very production friendly. It's the facial tones and photo reproduction 4CP that gets my panties in a bind.

yeah, with you there. Anything that is color correction forgiving is easy with 4CP. Skin tones are certainly not one of those!

I think this is the first time that I put a 4CP print on a press and got the exact same result as the artwork without any sampling or changes. It just went on and after about a dozen test prints we were ready to go! Wish that happened more often . . .
