SERJ, just to confirm- you just printed halftones, on top of HD halftones....with water based ink...on a manual press.

I too suspect wizardry is at play.

I heard he's using hand stretched mesh with staple tape too. ;)

It's not water ink, it's plastisol, no magic

No magic he just knows how to step his screens to do it.  And I doubt he is in a huge rush like the rest of us to get it done.

Not really a complicated work, but I thought that prints came out pretty good. Not because of a great printer or some special technique, but just because of a great drawing.
Printed waterbase on a kitchen towels. Artwork is from local artist who does everything in Photoshop.
You cant really see it on those pics, but those files are super detailed. Each line is separately drawn, more of a cross hatch technique with hand drawn arts.
She liked the prints a lot. Towels will be sold at local events and a few artsy stores.

DC/tie-dye.
This is something we did a few months back. Tony's post in his other thread reminded me of it and I wanted to share it without intruding on his post.

It came.out ok, needs some work, but this has been a thing around here for a long time.

Happy Tie-Dye Fri-Dye everyone.

Yes, we've won our share of awards, and yes, I've tested stuff and read the scientific papers, but ultimately take everything I say with more than just a grain of salt! So if you are looking for trouble, just do as I say or even better, do something I said years ago!

Here's a 9 color from this week then a 5 on athletic shorts.  The 9 ran so beautifully I still can't believe it.  On the Gauntlet, one stroke on everything, one revolution.  NexGen base, QCM WOW and XOLB top colors, top white/NexGen.  No buildup, no popping, got down to 1.5 seconds on the flashes, and I was lucky enough to have a cool down right after the base but I printed directly after the 2nd flash.

The 5 color sucked, but it was for 12 shorts, and we did that one on the RPM so it took a bit longer to get it registered.
