Small embroidery trick
« on: July 10, 2013, 10:18:09 AM »
I have an order for a 15 embroidered jackets with the left chest logo and letters UWD embroidered on the back of the collar.
The problem with that was that they did not want to see the backing or the look of the back embroidery on the inside of the collar.

Here is the solution:
I added an oval that will be embroidered with black thread and black bobbin thread around the UWD letters (On black jacket)
Added a stop in between the color changes and when machine would stop, I would add a piece of Siser Strip-Flock under the collar.
After embroidered, the thread and the needle cut the strip flock and the extra material can be removed. Heat press it for 15 seconds and it will permanently glued to the inside of the collar and it will hide the back of embroidery.

Hopefully this will help someone in the future.
