Title: Tim Conway
Post by: tonypep on May 14, 2019, 06:08:38 PM
Sad to hear of his passing. He was one of the first to be a straight up comedian that could often keep Carol, Vicki, and Harvey from going just losing it on camera. There are some youtube vidios for those who may be to young or perhaps old. My best to his family.

First time I saw the Village People was on his short lived variety show.

One of the funniest ever. I met him back in the '80s. He gave a talk at Denver University when I lived there. Me and a few buddies were waiting to get in and he walked by and just stopped to chat with us. Very nice guy.

Yes, sorry to hear. It's funny how all the talk is about the Carol Burnett Show, but I remember him more from McHale's Navy. Condolences to his family.

Tim was able to be funny without bad language and being hateful and rude to others.
