Title: Print over zipper
Post by: T Shirt Farmer on January 31, 2013, 07:32:29 PM
First go at printing over the zipper, Independent hoody, 341 gray DC, black foam on pallet, went quick and easy. The only issue was the design, should not have put the star in the middle, if the top point of star did not land in the middle of zipper it was obvious.

I like it.  I like it a lot.

It seems funny doesn't it.  20 years ago, this printing was shunned. How dare someone want to print over a seem?  Unheard of. How dare they want the print to look aged and cracked?  LOL.

You just cut the foam and adhere it to your pallets, the zipper just sinks into the foam and allows to print cleanly.

M&R sells it. You can get it at thestore online.
Item number is 7011291 you can order by foot
It's 1/4 in thick by 54" wide.

I don't have one, but some here do and that's laser pointers.  If you had something like that in place, it would have helped getting the seam in the right place.  Food for thought for next time.
