Those are some massive satin stitches, did you have to adjust machine parameters to not auto split them?

Those stitches must be longer than a 1/2" (12 mm). Which machine are you using and how fast you ran those hats?

Looks good BTW

I have a tajima tmfx speed not very fast,  600 in cap mode so  350-480spm. Very low speed.

Evilcap what kind of foam are you using or are you stacking your foam, I bought some 3mm foam hoping I could get a higher 3D look with it.. thinking I need to adjust my tension so the thread won't pull so tight.  Your cap looks awesome.

I set the machine  to operate 650 on cap mode but it slows down up to 400-500 on the 4mm satin stitch, over 4mmm about 380  very slow!

:) Nice work, we are try some 3d ourselves, what type settings do you use? We are doing a end cap, light radial, end cap, then tight top stitch. But we are getting quite a bit of foam showing. If you don't mind sharing.

Thanks,
Shane
