Title: Noob question
Post by: Fleetee on October 08, 2018, 08:43:36 AM
A very basic and probably stupid question but can someone please explain to me what an electric index is on a automatic screen printing machine? To my understanding, it's what keeps the pallet going from 1 station to another.

Yes electric index also known as a servo index is the motor being powered by electrical components to move the paltent from station to station.
There are also air driven indexes that rely on air power.
The electric index is faster and smoother.

Thanks for taking the time to verify! Makes a lot more sense now
