Title: Removing Bitmap Background in Corel
Post by: ole jobe on November 23, 2011, 11:16:28 AM
In Corel X4 or Photopaint, how do I remove the background from a bitmap image? I'm sure it can be done but I can't find it.

In DRAW use the bitmap color mask docker

Windows / Dockers /Bitmap Color Mask

Select hide colors and choose the background color. use the Tolerance slider tool to adjust the amount of color to be removed.

Pretty powerful tool for working with bitmaps inside DRAW

Thanks. I knew it had to be there. I have been out of town. Will try it tomorrow.
