Title: Cleaning web tack adhesive off fleece
Post by: Gilligan on November 14, 2017, 10:21:40 AM
So we did a run of fleece sleeves and my guy didn't realize he was over spraying the platten arm.  Then was tucking up the shirt on said platten arm to, keep it from getting dirty. :(

Now there is obvious web adhesive on the outside of these fleece and of course, it doesn't want to come off easily.

Any ideas?

Spotting gun, or at least spotting fluid rubbed with clean cloth (wear gloves)

Depending on how ground in it is, a loop of masking tape might take it off, or some of it at least.

Works very well for the 'dragging across the platen' style of tack on the hem.  :)

Polyken screen tape is best (white duct tape)

have also used packing tape wrapped around hand with sticky side out
