Title: Do you recycle Vinyl Cores (Cardboard Tubes)
Post by: ThePrinter on April 22, 2019, 01:45:45 PM
What do you all do with the vinyl cores (cardboard tubes - 15" - 54")?

Do you all have a way to recycle them or do you just trash them? As of now I have been saving them, they seem to good or can be reused to throw away.

If you happen to have a 2 yr old and a 7yr old, the tubes make great cannons for cardboard pirate ships and bazooka arms.... Although, I do have a 32yr old artist here who also enjoys the bazooka arms. So, ya.

Aside from that we just toss them in the recycling.

we throw out the 54" cores all the time, the garbage men picked them up last week and started sword fighting...it was hilarious...

Recycling. But it might be worth a quick post on a local classifieds or your social media. Someone might want them for shipping posters and other paper stuff. We have done this for extra boxes and our neighbours have saved us a lot of recycling trips.

Reclaim guy uses them as a poker to smash tape down to the bottom of our super tall reclaim tape box.

We got a recycle dumpster for all our cardboard, scrap paper, & poly bags from garments that are individually bagged.

Out with the cardboard. I used to save them and offered them up for free on social. Everybody and their brother wanted them, but after weeks no one came. Out they went.
