Cameo 24 [$500]
« on: February 18, 2014, 07:30:05 PM »
So I have finally decided to get rid of my Cameo 24.  I just don't use it enough to justify the floor space it takes up in my shop.  It is in perfect working condition (vacuum, foot pedal, micros, etc).  New rubber in the 24" squeegee, and comes with a smaller squeegee/flood as well.  I have a box of extra small parts and a binder with a photocopy of the original manual.  Max print area is 14x24, perfect for smaller posters, invitations, and plastisol transfers (what I use it for primarily).

Also including 11 26.5x33 aluminum static frames.  Some need reclaiming, but the mesh is good to go in them all.  Mostly higher mesh counts.

Would prefer local pickup here in Austin, but will crate and ship for someone with credibility on the boards.  $500 firm.

It really is a great press, and I know this is under valued, but I got it for a steal and I just want to pass it along.

Where you are you royster?  Coincidentally we too are selling our Cameo 22x30 and screens/floods/squeegees.  Not trying to jack yer classified mimosa, your press is a very sweet deal.

haha no worries!  How much are you selling your for?  The larger size is definitely a good thing to have.  I honestly might even be inclined to keep mine if it could print 18x24, but even then I just don't get enough use out of it for the space.  I only have 900 sq ft so every bit is important.

Holy smokes, we're practically neighbors.  Let me know when you get ready.  We're getting rid of a Cameo, 20' TexAir EEE, M&R No shirt detector, more stuff I can't remember.  If seriously interested in any of it just make an offer and I'd be fine with payment later on as long you get the gear out of our hair in a week or so.

Would anyone be willing to post this on digitsmith for me with my contact info?  I didn't realize you had to pay to post a classified and I don't really want to spend $50 in the off chance someone is interested.  PM me for info.  Thanks!

You don't have to pay, at least I don't!  Be happy to post it for you later if you have a problem, I'm putting a set of gear up today.

Someone else here (maybe Sam) once mentioned shock at seeing a charge there. What's the deal?
I would think that possibly they charge for commercial listings, but, not too many private people would pay $50, just to list.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

When I tried to post it a page loaded that showed I didn't have the right permissions and showed the benefits of purchasing a membership, which was $49.99 per year I believe.

We had a Cameo 18 that we converted to run one color prints on shirts, mousepads, and probably about 100k of statue of liberty foam cutouts. Great machines...
