We have the exact 4880 setup as Maxie, and enjoy the same benefits.  However, I still like to utilize the vellum for a portion of our jobs that just don't require the film.  We have the burn times dialed in for each, so exposure is not an issue.  I am just looking for an upgrade to the hp 5000.

4880 with 17" roll, Artisan 1430 with 13"x19".
