Ok my customer wants the bottom text style but not necessarily that high. I watched some vids on HD printing and cap film seemed to be what is needed. Could I get away with an 86 mesh coated with emulsion? What emulsion is recommended? The vids I seen were gloss HD, is there a matte finish?

Murakami offers a sample pack of their HD cap film. It's fairly cheap, and I'd go for it. Remove that
variable at least.

International coatings has HD ink with a matte finish.

Ulano has a direct emulsion for HD-

Definitely, stacking the print is the way to go, stay away from large areas of deposit.
