Embroidery on Beanies
« on: November 02, 2015, 08:34:23 PM »
Should the beanie seams be on the side or in the back. I'm specifically working with POM POM beanies from Sanmar. They feel better with the seam on the side IMO. I'm told by random internet people on FB that I should be putting seam in the back.

What is the proper way?

I've always worn beanies with the seam in the back, but I have no idea if that is the "right" way. It always just made the most sense to me...

Don't think there is a "proper" way but I have always put the seam to the back.

Sometimes you are working with beanies that have a logo on them already, like New Era.  You don't have much choice as to where you can embroider. (I do lots of these)
Their logo is on the side, so seam has to go to the back.
