Electric Dryer preferences
« on: February 11, 2016, 12:30:58 PM »
We are looking at getting a new Electric Dryer and are having trouble deciding which to move forward with.
We also have a Gas dryer but we need the electric for Bomber jackets, safety vest, and some sweats to keep it at bit lower heat so they will not burn.

The two that we are looking at are:
1. M&R Fusion 36" belt width - 4 radiant panels
2. Workhorse - Powerhouse Quartz Dyer - PQ4013 -40" belt width

Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you can benefit from another dryer, fine, but can't you lower the heat enough (if no other way, just by speeding up the belt) in your present gas dryer?
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

To accurately control surface temps you'd be way better off with a gas dryer.

Yes we could do that but We would be using both dyers at the same time, for different presses and different types of orders. Our current electric Dryer that we have been using is on its last leg and we are looking to replace it.
