I would take one if it had 35" tires and was red.........

My guarantee that if the customer doesn't love the art or I don't get paid is still my motto.
It was a car dealership with too many chiefs, so they couldn't agree.

BTW- this printer couldn't print halftones- so each piece had to be solid white.....

That's a lot of art work for free, I will admit I have a few piece's of art that I did for free, but it only took me a few minutes to do, nothing like this.

To get as much work as possible.
I'm not upset; love this printer; and old friend in Fla!

Good grief guys..... lighten up. He was just trying to pass along some nice artwork at a discounted price not asking for advice on how to run his business.  He knows what he is doing, as we all do, but on occasion we all let a few slip through the cracks. I deal with Mike on a regular basis and from what I can tell is he is pretty solid with what he does, even though he is from Oregon. By the way Mike... Nice looking Jeep!

Well meaning advice, asked for or not...a small price to pay for the free exposure our less-than-totally-mentally-sound artist friend receives here on The Shirt Board.

What gets me is that because the printers customer disappeared then the artist doesn't get paid? The printer is the doche in this situation, he should have paid the artist regardless of his inability to track his customers

I'd rather get a lot more work, where this happens once in a while- than less when it didn't!
SOMETIMES they change their mind- and I get paid later on.....

I just had a customer vanish on me that left me a deposit for art. DLAC did the artwork without payment up front, customer vanished and the only right thing for me to do was ask what I owe for the mans time and sent him some money. I could have just said screw it I am not paying but to me it is called integrity and honoring someones time and talent with payment.
