Fonts Similar to Stahl's Pro Block

(1/3) > >>

Frog:
Folks have asked for this countless times on countless forums over the years.
I find this a very elegant, simple font for its purpose, names and numbers on sports shirts.
It is apparently a proprietary font from Stahls for their Die-Cut line, but I wonder if anyone out there has come across a similar "cousin"
I have used Machine, but it is comparatively clunky.

JoppaMill:
I am partial to this Athletic Font, because it establishes feet on the 1,4,and 7. I use it on a number of jerseys. Alphas are great too.

Frog:
Thanks, but when I want "feet" I use Stahls Varsity if die cut, and a few in my font arsenal for cutting.
I just usually, when it's up to me, prefer the cleaner look of the san serif Pro Block. btw, I especially think that the foot on top of poor "A's" head looks silly on styles like the linked font.

aauusa:
the best font which is similar is college bold,  but use the lower case of the font.  the upper case letters have feet.

Sbrem:
Actually, I like Machine for that, just as you usually do. I have never had a single complaint... also, it's a pro font, so it has all the hints and kerning built in...

Steve

We do have others though, we just hardly ever use them...
