If they are like mine on my press I pry from the ends and work the squeegee out so as I don't mess up the lip of the holder.
Life is like Kool-Aid, gotta add sugar/hardwork to make it sweet!!

Bench vise+ HD Vise Grips+ a couple of tough guys. When installing new blade check thoroughly for evenness........couple of slaps on flat smooth concrete should fix any waviness.
Love me that Kwick Klamp system for the new styles!

I just replaced rubber in 40 old style holders. I heated up the rubber slightly from end to end.. It slides right in. Bill Faust gave me that pointer and it works like a dream.
- cut the rubber to length
- heat it up slightly
-angle it in about a 1/4 inch from the end
-tap it in all the way down with a rubber mallet.
-sharpen if available
-round the corners

no, but that may work. I use a heat gun as it doesn't take much.

Take a chisel and insert into the end. Tap from both ends and it should easily open up.

Heating it up is brilliant.  We just changed a half dozen yesterday...always have issues getting the new blades in.  Never even thought of a little heat.
