Well, for my 1100, I use Cobra https://www.cobraink.com/
but I think that Crooked Stan mentioned to me someone finding something even better for the 1430
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

This isn't CIS.... but works well for me. I use my 1400 (same thing as a 1430) for both film positives and color inkjet paper printing.

Refillable cartridges:

And, bulk ink:

You can make a big 'ole mess if you aren't careful.... I always wear gloves.

Buy a CIS and install it! Refillable carts aren't that great. After a year of using refillables I finally bought a CIS and have been loving it. I got mine from inkjetcarts.us and use the Matte Black Photodye for refilling.

Dan, also check out plans to move the waste ink into a bottle instead of the pad inside the printer, you can probably find a few vids on YouTube. Also on occasion, the internal counter may tell you that the pads are full and shut you off. Epson has a utility that will reset the counter, I can't remember the exact name, but I have it if you want it (it's free from epson, no pirating here).
