Looking for Ink that could be used on leather
« on: April 17, 2017, 01:04:08 PM »
One of my customers asked me if this can be screen printed.
It is a leather strap for a life vest.

Not sure is the regular plastisol can be used or something that is air dry.

Thanks

I would bet that plastisol would not hold up. Nazdar recommends either 9600 Polyester Ink or 7200 Lacquer ink.
Here someone asks Nazdar about printing on a leather jacket. https://sourceone.nazdar.com/P/3357/7200-Lacquer-Screen-Ink---Standard-Colors
I also wonder if pad printing with an appropriate ink is not an option on the seemingly small print in your case.
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

Hot stamping might be a better method of printing on leather.....

We pad print this sort of application with Printcolor Series 660 and get excellent results.
