With the multi-user version of T-Works, you can set your router to port forward Filemaker's network port (5003) to a specific IP Address from a remote location to connect to that remote network.

This is why I am such a fan of the cloud apps. ;)

But seriously, that almost makes sense even to a dumbass like myself. We would need filemaker on all machines then?

It sounds geeky, but it's pretty straightforward. Yes, the multi-user version of T-Works requires Filemaker Pro version 10 on each machine. Keep in mind, that doing this will not encrypt the data being sent across the internet. A VPN router would be required to encrypt the data between the two locations.
