Fun job for sure.... make sure the grease you are using is rated at 500F & a pump every day or two

We use only Jet-Lube 31850, good to 600F.

My Sprint is starting to get loud. No rattle but it's getting hard to talk when standing next to it. How loud do these get before you need to rebuild?

To where you cant talk. Once you install the new bearings you'll be surprised at how quiet it is. Budget a day of cussing to get the old bearings off.
I spend too much money on equipment...

Yep, once it starts rattling a little, go ahead and do the swap before they get bad and you have to grind the damn things in two. Turns a couple hour job into an all day pain in the ass.
