Long shot - Manual For Sias Simplex press

(1/2) > >>

rusty:
have one of these in our shop now and trying to get it up and running. can't get any info on it. Going to make some calls but I figure I would see if any one on here has one. Or might know where I can get a copy of a manual. I don't think the company is around anymore.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like GPI has manuals, or at least claims to. I remember dealing with them being mind-boggling, though
that may have changed.

What's the machine doing or not doing?

Yeah GPI is a waste of time. They don't get back to you and I doubt they even have what they say.

Setting the press up yesterday something blew on it and we looks to be on one of the boards. That seemed to happened cause too much voltage was drawn in. It says it uses 110 for power but the cord is more heavy duty an all the ampage suggests it needs a 30 amp. We are getting an electrician to stop by to check that out.

A manual would be good cause other parts on it might need to be replaced or upgraded. It was gotten for cheap an we have a lot of requests for more paper printing so willing to invest a little into it. I just don't know about flatstock presses in general.

I got an email of a tech who used to service these so hopefully he can help us out.
