I'd say that is us 75% of the time! Just shoot the breeze and get out of this MN winter for a few days! This time we actually were going to take a "final look" at a few things. So I will be bummed if it is canceled.

I talked to 2 companies today that basically said with M&R being out and there are whispers of SPSI ducking out, that if Roq pulls out then it will be canceled. That was their assumption. It's interesting because I've also talked with a few of our reps that are based around or near Los Angles, and they DO NOT want to work the booths. Makes sense, you work hard to stay healthy and then go to a large event like this...

All that being said, my guess is if it does get canceled there will still be a small splinter group of people like us here, that will still go just to get out and see some warm weather and hopefully bump into a few other printers. Tickets and rooms are already bought, why the hell not!?

what are you looking at? what are you gonna buy? see you there?

That ink dispenser from Matsui, really need to look closer at the "higher end" features on some of the newer Roq machines to see if they are really something we would use. Also want to check out how the FIT is built, would love a machine for strictly sleeves and a decent tag machine. I also need to bust Mammoser's balls about the "power washer in a box" he was supposed to make for me months ago!!!!

See you there? No Eric, you will not. My large LOUD self will hide from you around every corner, just waiting to jump out and scare the vegetarian out of you.... But you know me, I'm a sucker for friends and hanging out so yes, see you there!

Dave, remember a few months ago when we came down to Iowa, then drove to a friends house that had minimum maintenance roads? It was a good time, but I can honestly say winters are not the only thing that sucks in Iowa.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

The COROB dispensers are awesome. We have placed dozens across the US and Central America with Magna Inks and the Magna Mix software.  Works like a charm.

Whoa slow your roll there, if it outside the 5 mile radius around the convention center in Long Beach there we are out of my comfort zone and probably WAY too adventurous for me! Lucky for you they have a Brazilian steak house in the radius!  ;D

We are not going unfortunately.  I want to as I think it's a good time and you can always discover new methods and things to sell at the smaller booths.

They got rid of direct flights from PDX to Long Beach, so more logistics, M&R pulling out, and we already have a Cobra on order.

I would love to have one of those automated ink mixers, but if the formulas to match a pantone don't work, what's the point really?  Why can't they just make formulas that actually match the pantone, like pay a couple color specialist for a year to make the 1,867 solid coated pantone colors and to actually match the pantone.  Maybe 3 formulas, on a base, no base, and discharge.
