Using DTF for jersey numbers?
(1/1)
ThePrinter:
Those of you that have DTF.
Do you all use it to print jersey numbers or are you all still using HTV for that?
Is there dye migration issues with DTF?
I am wondering how much DTF can replace HTV?
3Deep:
We've printed plenty of jerseys' using DTF so far with no problem, the only problem shirts you may run into is red/cardinal poly shirts which are a pain for just about anything because it bleeds, we've had it even bleed with some HTV film that was not very thick like Stahls thermo film is.
DonR:
DTF Transfers work great for names and numbers. The transfers can be pressed at 275 degrees for 10 seconds, which will prevent any dye migration from most material.
Frog:
I could see this as an especially attractive option for two (or more) color numbers.

We had a customer that wanted their logo small on the bottoms of each number, this would make perfect sense for that...or printing them with a numbering machine.
