Submariner. Because I sometimes I go into the wading pool.

generally not a fan of Rolex, but DAMN! submariner IS one of my all time favorite watches!

Rolex is a feat of engineering, not craftsmanship as many ppl believe. Inside of MOST Rolexes is simple low tolerance movement, but figuring out how to make those movements keep good time and be super reliable requires engineering not many companies can match.

Here's our actual daily working collection. My Omega and newly added Chinese Mickey flanked by my wife's Citizens
That rug really tied the room together, did it not?

My first "special" watch was a gold (gold tone) Seiko, Mickey Mouse watch. The Seiko Mickey Mouse gets passed on to my son when he's ready for a watch.

Women have purses to strut. Men have watches.

Here's the watch I've had my eyes on for a long time, but at $2750, I'm gonna have to print a few more t-shirts before I can sink my teeth into this one:

I get a new one about every two years for Christmas. People notice that I don't have one and they get me one. Then a few months later it's sitting in the drawer.  Before, I just never had time for one.  :)  Ha!    But now, I reply on my Iphone.

Too many to name.....thats what duty free St Thomas jewelry shopping will do to you. But my sentimental favorite is my Movado. It was actually a parting giift from the fine folks at JSR.

I find it amazing at the cost of some of these watches. . .never really thought about it, but 5k for a watch. . holy smokes. . .but then again I get the same reaction from a 5k bicycle. . . boys and their toys, just don't tell the wife what it really costs. .
...keep doing what you're doing, you'll only get what you've got...

actually, that is not expensive. I have a couple in that price range . . . most of the high end, hand made watches start at $100K and some limited editions will pass the mil mark. I remember reading about a limited edition watch that took 3 YEARS to put together!

these guys are one of the current favorites:

$157K after a $50k discount!

Obviously, I don't wear a watch! :) I have a husband who doesn't like to do anything without one and a cell phone, so I am generally good!! My husband has a beautiful Movado which we purchased in St. Thomas.
