You are correct sir I just checked that my self. But it is a gaffe by Corel, calling it outline Pen but then the description explains it is out line properties is incorrect to do by Corel. Implying out line Pen makes it seem like an actual tool when it is only the properties.

And you too are correct sir.... by it not being a pen at all and yes being properties. But whatever we decide to call it I really like mine at the bottom lol.

Just a tip I use the F12 key to bring up my out line properties its really quick and less fussing around required, sadly tho on my new Mac I no longer have that option i will have to either dock it or reassign a key for it.

I'm considering getting X6 to run on my Mac (in Fusion) so I can check some of the advanced artist stuff, but after looking over this thread, I'm not so sure, it looks like a cluster you know what to me. Why is there an outline "tool", can't you just select an object and outline it? Or are just saying the same thing in different languages? I've been an Illustrator user since the beginning (Illustrator 88) and I'm pretty comfortable there, and I haven't received a CD file in over 2 years from a customer. However, I would like to investigate the new toy from Advanced Artist... any suggestions, or advice, maybe from someone who works in both Illy and CD?

Steve

I'm not trying to hijack the thread, honest...
I started with illy but after so many feedback on corel i decided to take the plunge three years ago
once you become familiar with corel terminology is a great tool
there`s also all kind of tuts, add ons gear towars screen printers
just my 2 cents

Well, my copy of CD is on the way, so we'll see... I suppose it will just be learning Corel's terminology, I imagine the tools are quite similar. We like to say, "Those French people have a different word for everything!"

If I can be of any assistance drop me a line... I am not the sharpest knife in the kitchen drawer but I will share my knowledge with it. Did you get the 64 bit version?
